What I love most about my job

I love building relationships with my clients where I get to cheer them on from the sidelines. I’ve spent well over half of my career at Wax & Lash, and I’ve followed so many people through major life moments.

My favorite Just The Strip product

The Nourishing Oils are my favorite. I’ve always had dry skin, and we all know Colorado only adds to that.

When I am not waxing, you will find me

With my Boston terrier, with my laptop open to the manuscript of the book I’m currently writing, or somewhere that requires a passport.

A fun fact about me

In a past life, I was on track to become a kindergarten teacher.

Favorite service to do

Brazilian waxes are my favorite service to perform, especially since every one is unique to the client. I love connecting with you and helping you feel clean, comfortable and confident!

What I love most about my job

My favorite part of my job is the relationships I grow with all of my clients, from getting to know you to hearing about your journey. I could talk to a brick wall, so if you’re ever nervous, just ask me to tell you a story!

My favorite Just The Strip product

My favorite would have to be Smooth Operator. It’s gentle enough to use daily and active enough to see amazing results, and it’s best paired with a Nourishing Oil for some extra moisture. My favorite scent is our lavender, Slow Your Roll.

When I am not waxing, you will find me

With my husband and our family, our two pups and a good fantasy novel, because I’m definitely a homebody!

A fun fact about me

Once you get to know me, you might find out that I love to cook, although mostly I love to eat new foods. Come chat with me about all your favorite recipes!

Favorite service to do

Brazilians have always been one of my favorite services to do, and because every client is different, the waxing itself can be a fun challenge. What I love most, though, is the connection that comes with seeing my Brazilian clients so regularly, and how over time my clients become friends.

What I love most about my job

Connecting with people has always been the highlight of my job. In my ten years of waxing, I’ve been lucky enough to wax some clients through their entire journey, and getting to watch them grow, get married, have babies and move through every season of life is so special to me. Some appointments feel like therapy sessions, while others are filled with laughter and being completely goofy together, and I go home feeling so lucky to have these women in my life.

The Polisher is my favorite. It’s an incredible manual exfoliant with great ingredients, and it really works for exfoliating and preventing ingrown hairs.

When I am not waxing, you will find me

At the gym, out on a run, or hanging out with my daughter, who is my little bestie. The second I leave the studio, mom mode is on!

I was hired at Wax & Lash ten years ago, when I was only 18 years old!

Brazilians are my favorite service to do, because they let me create a safe and comfortable space where women can be vulnerable and feel respected.

What I love most about my job

Connecting with strong, independent women and bringing back a sense of self care and appreciation through every service.

My favorite Just The Strip product

My favorite is the Lemon Dream Nourishing Oil, which softens and hydrates my skin, including my Brazilian area. I also love mixing it into my bath water or lotion for extra moisture.

When I am not waxing, you will find me

Thrifting, browsing estate sales or shopping the farmers markets.

Favorite service to do

I love a Brazilian wax! Having my clients say their hair is thinning and softening after just a few waxes are the results I love to hear!

I also love lash lifts and brow laminations. These services can be done at the same time and have clients feeling like a brand new person. They love the instant gratification and shortening their get ready routine. You can wake up and easily walk out the door.

What I love most about my job

I love making people feel great about themselves! My coworkers are amazing, and I thoroughly enjoy and look forward to coming to work.

My favorite Just The Strip product

All of our products are hands down the best on the market! As someone who has grown up with extremely dry skin and eczema, I’m a daily user of our Simply Pure Body Wash and the Nourishing Oils. I love that you can use the oils on your entire body, including your hair.

When I am not waxing, you will find me

As the mother of two girls, one in elementary school and the other in high school, I’m always on the go! You can either catch me at one of my eight year old’s sporting events or helping my teenager as she follows in her mama’s footsteps and attends esthetician school.

I’m a huge animal lover! I have two cats and two dogs, and my passion for animals has me helping stray animals in my neighborhood. I work with a group of women who help feed, spay and rehome stray animals.

I’m also a plant lover. I have over 25 plants in my home and love tending to the garden at work and all of the beautiful plants inside our shop.

A fun fact about me

I’m originally from Iowa, and I moved to Colorado 20 years ago! As a teenager I attended a vocational school and had my own radio show for two years. Needless to say, I love to talk. My passion for esthetics combined with my love of gabbing allows me to get to know my clients on a deeper level and genuinely connect with them.

Favorite service to do

Brow tinting and waxing is my favorite service, because I feel like that’s where we see the most dramatic results, and my clients love how their brows turn out.

What I love most about my job

All the lovely connections I get to make every day. Everyone is different and comes in with their own story, which makes my job so much more fun.

My favorite is our Nourishing Oil, and I use it everywhere I need a little extra hydration.

When I am not waxing, you will find me

Out in Denver eating, drinking and dancing!

I’m a professional singer, and I sing in a popular Denver cover band.

Brazilians and dermaplaning are my favorite services, because dermaplaning gives an instant glow and Brazilians make you feel brand new!

What I love most about my job

Helping people look and feel their best. My motto is when you feel good, you look good, and when you look good, you feel good!

Either at home with my cats or spending time with my friends and family, going on adventures or playing board games.
