About the Service
What Is A Brow Lamination?
Brow lamination is a brow makeover without needles or downtime. A gentle solution relaxes the hair, your esthetician brushes each strand into place, and a second solution sets it there. Sparse brows read fuller. Unruly brows lie flat. Downward-growing hairs point up.
The whole thing takes about 45 minutes to an hour and results last 6 to 8 weeks. We recommend rebooking every 6 to 8 weeks for your brow lamination services.
It works best on brows that are stubborn, coarse, sparse in patches, or just growing in several directions at once. If your brows already sit the way you like them, a brow wax and brow tint may be all you need.
Know the Difference
Brow Lamination vs. waxing vs. tinting: what’s the difference?
Brow waxing or brow threading ($25)
Shapes your brows by removing hair. It changes the outline.
The outline
Brow tinting
Darkens the hair you already have. It changes the color.
The color
Brow lamination ($90)
Changes how the hair lies. It doesn’t remove or darken anything. It redirects.
The direction
They solve different problems, which is why most clients combine two of them. Sparse and pale brows want lamination plus tint. Full but messy brows want lamination plus a wax.
Not sure which? Book the closest thing and tell your esthetician when you arrive. We’ll sort it out on the table.

Brow Lamination & Tinting
Lamination plus a tint to deepen the color and make sparse areas read fuller. If you fill your brows in with a pencil most mornings, this is the one that replaces it.
Is It for You
Is brow lamination right for you?
Brows that grow in different directions.
Wiry, stubborn, or downward-growing hairs get smoothed and set upward, so they finally lie flat. This is the most common reason clients book it.
Sparse or patchy brows.
Hair lying flat leaves gaps. Setting it upward covers them. Add a tint and sparse areas read noticeably fuller.
Anyone filling in their brows every morning.
If you use a pencil or powder daily, lamination replaces that for six to eight weeks.
Brows that already sit the way you like them?
You probably don’t need this. A wax and tint will do it for $45.
How long does brow lamination last?
Six to eight weeks for most clients.
Weeks 1 to 3
Hairs stay fully lifted and set. This is peak fluff.
Weeks 4 to 6
The shape softens as new, untreated hairs grow in.
Weeks 6 to 8
The treatment grows out and your natural pattern returns.
What makes it last longer or shorter
Your growth cycle.
Fast-growing brows see new untreated hairs sooner, which softens the set earlier.
Skin type.
Oily skin breaks down the setting solution faster. If you’re oily around the brow, expect the shorter end of the range.
The first 48 hours.
Keeping brows dry and untouched matters more than anything you do afterward. No steam, no sweating, no washing your face over them.
Ongoing care.
Brushing them up each morning and conditioning the hair keeps it soft. Brittle hair loses its shape faster.
Your Appointment
The Brow Lamination Process, Step by Step
More relaxing than it sounds. Four steps, about 45 minutes to an hour total, and you spend most of it lying down with your eyes closed.
1
Consultation & Design
Your esthetician asks what you’re after: fluffy and full, sleek and sculpted, or somewhere between. We look at your natural shape and growth pattern and plan from there. Some people want brows that read bold across a room; some want it barely noticeable.
2
Cleanse & Laminate
Brows are cleansed and brushed into place, then a gentle solution softens the hair bonds so each strand can be set in its new direction. This is the step doing the actual work.
3
Tint & Nourish (if selected)
A brow tint deepens the color and makes sparse areas read fuller. We finish with a hydrating treatment so the hair stays soft rather than brittle.
4
Aftercare
You leave with a plan. Keep brows dry for 24 hours, then brush them up each morning. We’ll recommend a brow serum to keep the hair soft and a brow balm to hold the shape, matched to your brows and skin rather than a generic list.
Questions
Brow Lamination Questions, Answered by Wax & Lash
If you’re considering brow lamination for the first time, or you’re just not sure how to care for those freshly fluffed brows, we’ve got you covered. Below are the most common questions our Denver clients ask before (and after) their brow lamination appointment. Let’s break it down.
How much does brow lamination cost in Denver at Wax & Lash?
Brow lamination at Wax & Lash is $90, or $105 with a tint added in the same appointment. Pricing is the same at our Berkeley and Central Park studios. Most clients add the tint, since it fills in the look while the lamination sets the shape, and the combination lasts about the same six to eight weeks.
What is brow lamination?
Brow lamination is a treatment that sets your natural brow hairs in an upward, brushed-up direction so they stay that way for six to eight weeks. It uses a gentle solution to relax the hair, a second one to set it in place, and a conditioner to finish. No needles, no pigment, and nothing added; it’s your own brows, just fuller and tidier.
How long does brow lamination last?
Six to eight weeks, which is roughly one brow hair growth cycle. The lift grows out gradually rather than wearing off overnight. Daily brushing, keeping the brows dry for the first 24 hours, and using a brow conditioning oil all help it last toward the longer end.
Does brow lamination hurt?
No. There’s no waxing, no needles, and nothing sharp. The solutions sit on the brow hairs, not the skin, for a few minutes each, and most clients feel nothing beyond a slight coolness. You lie back with your eyes closed and the whole thing is over in under an hour.
How long does a brow lamination appointment take?
About 45 minutes to an hour at Wax & Lash, and a little longer if you add a wax or tint. Your eyes are closed for most of it. You can go straight back to your day afterward; there’s no downtime.
Will my brows look fake or too flat after lamination?
Not unless you ask for that look. Right after the appointment the brows sit very upright, which settles into a soft, feathered shape within a day or two. Your esthetician sets the direction based on your face and how much lift you want, so a natural finish is the default, not the exception.
Can I get brow lamination if my brows are thin, sparse, or patchy?
Often yes, and it’s one of the best reasons to book it. Lamination redirects the hairs you have so they cover more space, which makes thin or uneven brows read fuller without adding anything. If your brows are very sparse, adding a tint gives the biggest improvement. Your esthetician will tell you honestly what to expect at your consultation.
Can I get my brows waxed or tinted in the same visit as lamination?
es, and most clients do. Lamination plus tint is $105 as a package, and a brow wax can be added to either. We laminate first, then shape and tint, so everything is set in the same direction. Booking all of it in one visit saves time and keeps the shape consistent.
How do I take care of my brows after lamination?
Keep them completely dry for 24 hours: no water, steam, sweat, or makeup on the brows. After that, brush them upward each morning with a clean spoolie, and starting 48 to 72 hours after your appointment, use a brow conditioning oil daily to keep the hairs soft and hydrated. We use Just The Strip Brow Conditioning Oil in the studio and recommend it for home; it’s what keeps laminated brows from feeling dry or brittle.
What is the difference between brow lamination and microblading?
Brow lamination is non-invasive and temporary; it reshapes the brow hairs you already have and lasts six to eight weeks. Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo that deposits pigment under the skin to draw in hair strokes and lasts one to three years. If you have brow hair and want it fuller and lifted, lamination is the faster, gentler, and far less expensive option. If you have almost no brow hair, microblading addresses that in a way lamination can’t.
Can I get brow lamination while pregnant?
We recommend waiting until after pregnancy and nursing. Hormone changes can affect how the solution takes, and we’d rather you get the result you’re paying for. Brow waxing and tinting are fine in the meantime, so you can still keep your brows shaped and defined. Ask when you book and we’ll help you plan around it.
How far ahead of an event should I book brow lamination?
At least two weeks before. That gives the brows time to settle into their natural, softer shape and leaves room to adjust if you want a tint touch-up. Booking the day before a wedding or photos means you’ll have the very upright, first-day look in the pictures, which most people don’t want.
