Mikayla

In my seven years as an esthetician, one thing has remained constant—my love for the connections I build with my clients. It’s so much more than just waxing or lashes; it’s about the relationships that form along the way. I’ve had the privilege of being there for life’s little moments and biggest milestones—whether it’s celebrating an accomplishment, offering a listening ear during tough times, laughing over reality TV, or even attending a client’s wedding.
Every day, I come to work not just to do what I love but to spend time with people who feel more like friends than clients. There’s something so special about creating a space where people feel comfortable, confident, and heard. Having a career that allows me to combine my passion with meaningful connections is the biggest blessing, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
What is your favorite quote?
“Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” George Bernard Shaw
What’s something we’d be surprised to know about you?
Most are surprised when I say I am mom!! When I’m not at wax & lash I’m out doing mom stuff with my 3 1/2 year old!!
What core value of Wax & Lash most resonates with you?
All of our core values resonate with me in so many ways, and since joining the Wax & Lash team, I’ve truly embraced them in both my work and personal life. But out of all the incredible values we uphold, Truth has always stood out to me as the most powerful. Honesty and authenticity are the foundation of not only a strong career but also a beautiful and fulfilling life. When we lead with truth whether in our relationships, our work, or our personal growth we create space for real connections, trust, and self-awareness.
What DREAM would you like to make come true in your life?
Just a simple life, a house with a chicken coop watching my daughter run through the wild flowers!
What is your favorite service?
I love any & all waxing, but I would have to say Brazilians. Instant results you can literally get it done on your lunch break! & then I get to see my girls every four to six weeks!
